A Review of Bon Ayre

I started my search 4 years before I retired, I wanted to live someplace close enough so that I may travel to see my family for holidays or other special occasions, but I also wanted something of low maintenance and something that would not eat up my nest egg.

I visited many manufactured housing communities in New jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland and even North Carolina before I choose Bon Ayre. I have been a resident now for 6 years and I am happy to say my wife and I could not happier. First, we are close to all medical facilities, doctors, malls, Arts and hospitals all are very important for a senior: Second, the community is active – just like the sign says at the entrance way into the community.

Every household gets a key to the community center the residents have many clubs and functions almost something for everyone and if you do not see a club activity that is of interest to you then you just simply start your own! You can invite the entire community to join you through our monthly newsletter, and then reserve your day and time – that is all that is required!

And even if you would rather just to keep to yourself that is just fine with your neighbors – we never lose our community pride!

The homes are of good quality and roomy, the lots to me are oversized for a manufactured community – definitely a bonus. Bon Ayre is almost like the song from the TV show, “Cheers” – a place to come where everyone knows your name. Management takes pride on how he maintains the Community Building and all the land and common grounds around our community. Family comes to visit and they feel right at home. If you are looking for good, affordable housing then I recommend you come to Bon Ayre. If you are not familiar with Delaware then you are missing out on rural life with all the convenience of the big city.

If you are seriously looking for a good place to live then I highly recommend you come to Delaware and make it a point to visit the Bon Ayre community!
